Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain our fleet of diesel-powered vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake adjustments.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in diesel engines and related systems.
  • Congduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and ensure vehicles meet safety standards.
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot and repair engine and transmission issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in diesel technology.
  • Adhere to company safety policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship program preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related systems.
  • A strong knowledge of diesel engine components and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and software effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

  • The ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions and environments.
  • The flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Pay Information:

Compensation: $1,100.00 - $1,500.00 per week
