Diesel Mechanic

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. Conduct diagnostic tests, perform routine maintenance, and replace worn parts.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair issues with diesel engines and related systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance checks and repairs
  • Replace worn-out parts and components
  • Follow safety protocols and adhere to environmental regulations

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in diesel mechanics
  • Knowledge of diesel engine operation and repair

Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills

Skills

  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Familiarity with common diesel engine components
  • Understanding of environmental compliance standards

Pay

$18 - $20 per hour

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
