About the role
Responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. Conduct diagnostic tests, perform routine maintenance, and replace worn parts.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair issues with diesel engines and related systems
- Perform preventative maintenance checks and repairs
- Replace worn-out parts and components
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to environmental regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in diesel mechanics
- Knowledge of diesel engine operation and repair
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
Skills
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Familiarity with common diesel engine components
