About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.

Requirements

• High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
• At least one year of related experience in diesel mechanics.
• Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with no suspensions or restrictions, except for prescription eyewear.
• Within three years of employment, must obtain Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications in brakes, steering and suspension, and heating and air conditioning for cars and light trucks (at a minimum required rate per year).
• ASE certification required within one year of employment, with a valid and current license maintained.
• Must be insurable under the State of Oklahoma Vehicle Liability Insurance.

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge

• Must possess mechanical aptitude related to automotive mechanical theory and operation.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
• Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, systems, and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy parts and equipment.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

$22.00 - $30.00 Hourly.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
