Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid level checks.
- Diagnose and repair complex engine issues.
- Utilize diagnostic tools effectively.
- Understand and work with basic electrical systems within diesel engines.
- Perform minor component replacements.
- Mount and balance tires, repair punctures, and manage inventory.
- Handle large, heavy tires and perform on-site tire repairs.
- Adhere to safety procedures while working on heavy machinery and tires.
- Provide excellent customer service.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in routine maintenance and complex engine diagnostics.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures.
- Experience with diagnostic tools and basic electrical systems.
- Basic mechanical skills and physical fitness.
- Heavy equipment operation and problem-solving.
- Teamwork and adaptability.
- Certification: Basic Automotive Tire Service (ATS) and Certified Earthmover Tire Service (ETS) from TIA.

Physical Demands/Work Environment
- Frequently required to stand, walk, handle objects, reach with hands and arms, and use tools.
- Occasionally required to stoop, bend, kneel, and lift or move up to 50 lbs.
- Workers are exposed to hazards typical of working with machinery, chemicals, and heavy equipment.
- Exposure to disagreeable weather conditions and extreme levels of temperature, ventilation, lighting, and noise.
Working Conditions
- On-site role in Richardson, requiring frequent fieldwork and exposure to outdoor port environments.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
