About the role

The Diesel Maintenance Technology Trainer will lead non-credit, hands-on training programs in diesel engine repair and maintenance. Responsibilities

• Teach diesel engine maintenance and repair in both classroom and shop settings
• Develop and deliver competency-based curriculum and lesson plans

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Bachelor's degree in Diesel Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related field
• Industry-recognized certifications (ASE, NCCER, or equivalent)
• 5+ years of professional experience in diesel maintenance (agricultural, transportation, or industrial sectors)
• Prior experience in teaching, training, or mentoring roles
• Knowledge of workforce training programs and adult education practices
• Effective communication and leadership skills
• A passion for workforce development and student success
