Diesel/Heavy Line Technician/Mechanic | Commission-Based - Tonkin Hillsboro Ford

Job Responsibilities

• Perform all necessary repairs on engines, cooling systems, exhaust systems, transfer cases, and front and rear differentials.
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and recommend services or necessary repairs.
• Administer necessary repairs and inspect for preventative maintenance, tire, and brake experience on medium to heavy-duty vehicles.
• Work with aftermarket warranty groups, presenting diagnostic findings and repair estimates to establish authorizations for necessary repairs.
• Inspect vehicles experiencing issues, diagnose the cause of malfunctions, and determine necessary repairs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of automotive repair experience
• Dealership experience preferred
• Attention-to-detail
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• 18 years or older with a clean driving record, valid driver's license

• Able to pass a drug screen
