About the role
Responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel equipment in industrial settings. Duties include troubleshooting, diagnosing issues, and performing routine maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related machinery
- Maintain equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks
- Communicate effectively with clients and other team members
- Follow safety protocols at all times
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in diesel mechanics
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Knowledge of diesel engine operation and repair
- Proficiency in diagnostic tools and equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent communication skills
Skills
- Proficient in computerized diagnostic systems
- Skilled in troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Good physical stamina for manual labor
