Die Maintenance 2nd/3rd shift

About the Role

Maintains all aspects of the dies to ensure the quality of cast components.

Responsibilities

• Lifts using hoist or crane.
• Cleans dies using pressure washer.
• Polishes, grinds, and finishes core insert.
• Measures die parts using metric scale.
• Performs layout according to design specifications.
• Disassembles and assembles die parts.
• Fits die using handwork technique.
• Uses pipe threader to cut and thread pipe.
• Wires limit switches.
• Applies Sparktron coding.
• Completes daily reports of all die repair content.
• Completes Preventative Maintenance check sheet.
• Fabricates any needed items.
• Operates milling machines, lathes, and surface grinders.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• One year certificate from college or technical school, or two to four years experience and high school diploma or G.E.D., or equivalent combination of education and experience.
