Die Cutting Operator

About the role

At Graphic Packaging International, we produce various packaging solutions for leading brands. This position involves operating Die Cutters to ensure quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate Bobst Die Cutters 145 and 162 according to company policies.
• Make press ready adjustments, including setting feeder, lock-up die, stripper, blanker, and delivery.
• Load dies weighing approximately 150 lbs. into the cutting press with assistance.
• Inspect each load run for quality, flagging and isolating defective materials.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all cutters and maintain good housekeeping.
• Verify materials running on the load and assist in training new operators.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Create and maintain a good working relationship with all employees.

Education and Experience

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must have basic math skills and working knowledge of Die Cutters.
• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and lift up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
• Must be able to tolerate repetitive work and keep up with machine speeds.
• Must be able to work any shift and overtime, including weekends and holidays.
• Must not be colorblind.
