About the role
Accord Carton is seeking a qualified Die-Cutting Operator to join our team. This role involves setting up and operating die-cutting presses to produce high-quality cut materials.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate die-cutting presses according to job specifications.
- Maintain consistent production speeds while meeting quality standards.
- Inspect materials throughout the process, ensuring accurate cuts and identifying any defects.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks and report any equipment malfunctions.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- May assist with loading and unloading materials.
- May be required to work with other team members to achieve production goals.
- Experience operating die-cutting machinery (Bobst preferred).
- Strong understanding of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically able to perform the requirements of the job, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
