Die-Cutting Operator

About the role

Accord Carton is seeking a qualified Die-Cutting Operator to join our team. This role involves setting up and operating die-cutting presses to produce high-quality cut materials.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate die-cutting presses according to job specifications.
• Maintain consistent production speeds while meeting quality standards.
• Inspect materials throughout the process, ensuring accurate cuts and identifying any defects.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and report any equipment malfunctions.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• May assist with loading and unloading materials.
• May be required to work with other team members to achieve production goals.
• Experience operating die-cutting machinery (Bobst preferred).
• Strong understanding of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically able to perform the requirements of the job, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
