Die Cutter Operator

Position Overview

The wage range for this position is $23.65-25.90 per hour.

Essential Job Functions

• Generate and die cut laminated sheets on demand according to priorities and manufacturer’s specifications.
• Maneuver pallet loads of material into machine and out of machine repeatedly.
• Locate schedule / job information – check laminated sheets identifications for common layouts while adhering to schedule date requirements
• Set-up and maintain machine and all mechanical functions according to specification
• Orient and load stock correctly into machine.
• Produce expected quantities and meet daily production requirements
• Work from written or verbal work order instructions
• Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations
• Complete work in a timely fashion within time estimates
• Adhere to company and departmental policies and rules
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
• Ability to climb 4 steps to reach platform of the machine and descend steps to change loads
• Physically able to lift 20lbs – 30lbs occasionally
• Physically able to push/pull loads of material safely with a pallet jack

Other Skills/Abilities

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Must be self-motivated and self-sufficient and able to follow directions
• Die cutting experience preferred
• Must be quality and time conscience
• Must be able to work overtime
• Ability to train on different shifts
