Responsibilities

• Stage all materials for the next job on the press (printed sheets, cutting die, plate, and blanking tools).
• Maintain organization of plates and cutting dies.
• Conduct routine maintenance.
• Transport die cut loads to Gluing and Stripping staging areas.
• Help implement process improvement and waste reduction techniques.
• Follow all departmental policies, safety rules, and procedures.
• Follow all good manufacturing policies as they relate to food safety.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• One to three years related experience and/or training
• Ability to read and comprehend safety and operational instructions, procedures, and policies
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Basic computer skills for reading work instructions, recording job data, following work schedules, and communicating electronically via email
• Attention to detail
• Basic mechanical and technical aptitude
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Ability to interpret product layouts and production specifications

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Mechanical background preferred.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.28. Shift differential applies for 2nd shift team members. Pay is based on a variety of complex factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for overtime pay.

Schedule

This is a full-time, on-site position on second shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Eastern Time Monday-Friday). Changes in manufacturing needs and schedules may necessitate a change to the original agreed upon hours, or the working of additional, overtime hours. Every effort will be made to give advance notice of any permanent changes.
