About the Role

Parker Chomerics, a Fortune 250 company and world leader in the development and manufacture of high-quality products, is seeking a Die Cut Operator to conduct all manufacturing functions in the Die Cutting Area. This role involves using die cutting equipment, reading blueprints, adhering to daily schedules, and meeting output targets while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Die Cutting equipment to die cut materials.
  • Read and follow written and verbal instructions, including internal blueprints.
  • Work to a daily schedule and meet or exceed output targets by understanding product flow and handling procedures.
  • Use hand jacks to lift and move materials to the stockroom or next work area.
  • Assist Process Engineers in solving die cutting issues.
  • Set up and run all related equipment, monitor machine output, and inspect for in-process quality.
  • Complete all internal departmental documentation accurately and on time.
  • Communicate effectively between departments to notify leaders and engineers for problem-solving.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all machines.
  • Use appropriate PPE for the designated area.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident Status required.
  • GED or High School Diploma required.
  • 0-1 years of manufacturing experience required.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Basic math, reading, writing, and computer skills (e.g., basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and use of Microsoft Office).
  • Effective organizational and verbal/written English communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
