Responsibilities

• Consult the press schedule for a tooling set-up plan and prepare tools.
• Double-check tooling against the die set-up procedure.
• Transport dies to the press, load them into the die oven, and log tooling and time on the die oven inventory sheet.
• Remove post-production tooling from the press area and prepare it for the caustic process per procedure.
• Clean and bead-blast tooling; separate tools for repair or polish per procedure.
• Assist correctors with polishing and ensure dies are stored in the correct locations.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Monitor and change out caustic tanks as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be available to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Ability to work both in a team and independently with minimal supervision.
• Follow safe work requests from supervisors.

Essential Physical Functions

• Work on the production floor with exposure to dust, fumes, odors, loud noise, and varying temperatures.
• Perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Lift, move parts, and equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Work 12-hour shifts primarily standing.

Schedule

12-hour continental shifts (6 a.m.–6 p.m.).

Pay
