Die Assembly Tech - 2nd Shift (12:00pm - 10:00pm, M-Th)

About the role

This position works on 2nd shift: 12:00pm-10:00pm, Monday-Thursday. Pay rate is based on experience: $15.00 – 40.00/hour. The differential for 2nd shift is $2.00/hour!

Responsibilities

• Assembly crimping dies.
• Create labels.
• Aid the Die Assembly Team Lead in inventory control.
• Use basic problem-solving skills.
• Work closely with the Safety Committee to foster a positive safety culture and to complete safety-related activities.
• Complete required documentation relating to business or regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
• Complete inspections.
• Perform administrative duties including daily production reporting related to Productivity, Quality, Material Usage, OEE, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience.
• Basic experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Basic mechanical experience
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communications.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems.
• Ability to work with others collaboratively.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
