Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to inpatients in need of hemodialysis.
- Supervise care and treatments, conduct patient assessments, and create personalized care plans.
- Address patient concerns and build rewarding relationships by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in their recovery.
- Educate nursing staff on the care of the hemodialysis patient, hemodialysis equipment, and hemodialysis standards of care.
Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
- CPR certification; ACLS within 1 year of hire.
- CRRN certification preferred (support provided to obtain it if needed).
- 6 months of dialysis nursing experience required.
- 1 year of experience in an inpatient hospital setting preferred.
