About the role
A Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care to individuals with kidney disease, working within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Administer safe, comfortable dialysis treatments
- Perform physical assessments before and after sessions
- Monitor patients during treatment
- Review medication profiles and administer medications as prescribed
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Ensure adequate staffing levels and support team members
- Follow all policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure high-quality care
- Participate in staff meetings and engage in continuing education to maintain competency
