Qualifications
- Licenses or Certifications: Current RN licensure as per state regulations, CPR certification, ACLS within 1 year of hire (preferred), CRRN certification (preferred).
- Minimum Qualifications: One year of inpatient hospital experience (preferred), one year of dialysis nursing experience (preferred), inpatient rehabilitation experience (preferred).
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong organizational and time management abilities, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
- Availability: Flexible availability for weekdays, weekends, and evening/night shifts as needed.
Responsibilities
- Oversee performance of safe and effective hemodialysis following all applicable guidelines.
- Direct and organize the hospital's hemodialysis program.
- Implement policies for safe and effective care.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the hemodialysis program and hospital management.
- Represent the program within hospital management and community settings.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to communicate patient concerns and changes promptly.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
- Experience: One year of inpatient hospital experience (preferred), one year of dialysis nursing experience (preferred), inpatient rehabilitation experience (preferred).
