Overview

The role of a Dialysis Clinical Manager at Fresenius Medical Care involves managing the daily operations of outpatient centers, ensuring quality patient care, and collaborating with physicians to deliver superior care.

Job Description

• Provides leadership, coaching, and development plans for all direct reports.
• Pairs with internal Human Resources, Quality, Education, and Technical Services departments.
• Collaborates with the Home Therapies Program Manager to oversee the facility’s Home Therapies Program.
• Maintains integrity of medical and operations records and complies with all data collections and auditing activities.
• Accountable for completion of the Internal Classification of Disease (ICD) coding.
• Responsible for all required network reporting and on-site state or federal surveys.
• Manages the tactical execution of short- and long-term objectives through the coordination of activities with a direct responsibility for results, including costs, methods, and staffing.
• Responsible for the administration of the daily business operations of the dialysis clinics including managing the functions and actions related to the center staff, quality of overall provision of patient care, maintenance of the physical plant and center equipment, and inventory control.
• Manages the profit and loss and other related financial aspects for the center, ensuring optimal facility operations to achieve or exceed the budget and key performance indicators.

Success Profile

Successful candidates must have strong management skills, prior direct patient care experience, and a combination of technical skills and genuine passion for developing deep relationships with patients and improving their quality of life. They should also have prior customer service, healthcare, and direct patient care experience.
