About the role
The Clinical Coordinator plays a crucial role in the USRC, a leader in the dialysis industry, by supporting the clinic's operations and fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate effective use of supplies and staff labor hours.
- Coordinate patient scheduling to ensure timely acceptance and effective staffing levels.
- Update logs and ensure accurate dialysis run sheets and logs are sent to billing.
- Assist with clinical and operational processes to improve patient health and minimize hospitalizations and missed treatments.
- Work with the Administrator to maintain thorough and appropriate documentation in patient records.
- Participate in quality management programs and promote patient care outcomes.
- Review and respond to incident reports, making recommendations and taking appropriate actions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and develop corrective action plans.
- Oversee the maintenance of equipment and supplies, ensuring they meet current laws and regulations.
- Respond to emergencies and maintain a safe and sanitary physical environment.
- Maintain positive relationships with medical directors, administrators, and community partners.
- Communicate effectively with staff and customers, addressing inquiries and complaints.
- Ensure all staff meet required qualifications and perform duties within company policies.
- Support recruitment, training, and development of personnel.
- Lead staff in team concepts and promote a team effort, accepting accountability and holding others accountable for performance.
Requirements
- Current RN license in applicable state, maintained in good standing.
- 12 months experience in providing nursing care, including 3 months of experience in dialysis care.
- CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
- Leadership skills and the ability to function in new and emergent situations with sound judgment.
- Working knowledge of the English language and ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and USRC clinical applications.
