Dialysis Charge Registered Nurse

About the role

Our Charge Nurses function as the hemodialysis team leader and provide day‑to‑day direction and supervision to assigned direct patient care staff. They promote positive public relations with patients, family members, guests, physicians, and coworkers, and use tactful and appropriate communication in all work‑related interactions. Responsibilities

• Function as the hemodialysis team leader.
• Provide day‑to‑day direction and supervision to assigned direct patient care staff.
• Promote positive public relations with patients, their family members, guests, physicians, and coworkers.
• Use tactful and appropriate communication in all work‑related interactions.

Requirements

• Registered Professional Nurse with current state licensure.
• Minimum 12 months of nursing experience, including 3 months in maintenance dialysis care (or as required by state guidelines).
• Meets state/licensing requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and procedures.
• Strong communication skills with clients and colleagues.
• Proven leadership ability.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Hemodialysis experience preferred.

Pay

Salary range: $48 – $60 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
