Key Responsibilities
- Carry out autism spectrum assessment
- Analyze and interpret collected data
- Write evaluation reports
- Review results with families
- Design and implement parent support sessions
- Design and implement parent and sibling groups
- Consult with parents regarding client needs
- Compile, maintain, and file all reports and documents
- Select assessment materials and equipment
- Articulate the company's mission and goals to the community
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team of professionals
Requirements
- PhD or PsyD in Psychology
- Licensed as a Psychologist in the state of New Jersey
- Ability to obtain licenses in other states if applicable
- Highest Honors in HSPP endorsement
- BCBA-D certification with current certification
- At least 1 year of experience diagnosing ASD
- Experience administering various diagnostic measures
- Proficiency in ADOS-2, CARS, GARS-2
- Excellent report writing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Efficient organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
- Interest in conducting and disseminating research with at least one publication
- Able to lift and carry clients up to 30 pounds
- Able to restrain, hold, transport, and utilize quick body movements
- Able to sit, stand, kneel, squat, crawl, and walk for extended periods
- Able to perform specific computer and electronic device functions
- Able to read and comprehend written communication through computer, electronic devices, and paper means
- Able to take written data and transfer to electronic files or databases
- Able to work on a computer for prolonged periods
