Diagnostic Radiology Technologist- Ortho Riley

About the role

We are seeking diagnostic radiology technologists or recent graduates who are passionate about their work and committed to providing high-quality care to patients from pediatric to geriatric levels.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures for radiological diagnosis, ensuring timely execution while maintaining the necessary knowledge and skills.
• Follows physician’s instructions to prepare and operate equipment and position patients appropriately to capture requested diagnostic images.
• Treats patients with compassion and respect.

Requirements

• Basic Life Support certification is required.
• Ability to maneuver equipment and adapt positioning when necessary due to patient conditions.
• Active registration as a Registered Technologist - Radiography (RT(R)) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or recent graduation from an approved Radiologic Technology program (board eligible).
• If board eligible, must obtain a Radiography credential within six months of hire.
• Current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as a Radiologic Technologist or a valid ISDH Radiology Student Permit.

Schedule

• Full-time position.
• 4-10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with Tuesday off.
• Shift times: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
