About the role
Responsible for performing standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities
- Conducts radiological and fluoroscopic procedures with proper patient positioning and exposure techniques.
- Operates all modality equipment proficiently.
- Prepares and adjusts immobilization and radiation protection devices.
- Assesses patient body characteristics and suspected pathology to ensure accurate examinations.
- Assists physicians during procedures.
- Reports equipment malfunctions and coordinates repairs or adjustments.
- Maintains detailed records and participates in quality assurance activities.
- Engages in educational training for students.
Qualifications
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
Skills
- Knowledge of equipment operation and patient safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
