Diagnostic Radiologist opportunity in Phoenix, Arizona with the Phoenix VA Health Care System (PVAHCS).
About the role
The Phoenix VA Radiology Service provides subspecialty, inpatient, outpatient, and emergency radiology services to Veterans across central Arizona. The service is one of the largest clinical departments at PVAHCS, with over 130 employees across 9 specialty divisions:
- Staff Radiology
- Vascular and Interventional Radiology Services
- CT Services
- Nuclear Medicine Services
- Ultrasound Services
- Breast Imaging Services
- Diagnostic Radiology
- MRI Services
- Clerical Services
Currently, the department has 24 radiologists providing both subspecialty and general radiology coverage.
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Pay
- Competitive salary (up to $400,000 annually)
- Annual performance bonus
- Regular salary increases
- Sign-in bonus: up to 25% of annual salary

Requirements
- Degree of Doctor of Medicine or equivalent from an accredited medical or osteopathic school
- Full, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory (must maintain current, active licensure)
- U.S. citizenship required (non-citizens may be appointed only when qualified citizens are not available, per VA policy)
