Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (PRN) position at University Health Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Part-time role with varied shifts and approximately 4 hours per week.

Whether in the inpatient setting or outpatient clinics, your expertise will directly impact clinical decisions and patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and specialized ultrasound imaging, including vascular studies, with precision and compassion
- Support radiologists and residents during complex or advanced studies
- Act as a technical resource in your specialty area for colleagues across the imaging department
- Uphold imaging standards while working independently and collaboratively across care settings
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
- Registered with ARDMS or ARRT (Sonography) upon hire, or within 12 months of hire
- RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or VT certification upon hire or within 12 months
- BCLS certification required and must be maintained throughout employment
- Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively with all members of the care team
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with patient positioning
- Demonstrates understanding of the human development process and ability to care for patients across the lifespan
- Computer proficiency, including the ability to input and retrieve patient data
