About the role
Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with standards, policies, and mission.
Responsibilities
- Review patient history, schedule exams, educate patients, and prepare/administer contrast media within scope.
- Monitor patient condition, select imaging parameters, and ensure safety and equipment quality.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, position patients, perform imaging, analyze results, and report findings.
- Work independently in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating critical thinking and decisive judgment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program.
- Registered as RDMS, RVT, RDCS, or certified by ARRT; applicable state licensure if required.
- BLS certification through recognized organizations with valid card before start date.
Skills
- Knowledge of ultrasound procedures, patient care, equipment troubleshooting, and safety standards.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, adapt quickly, and communicate effectively.
