Diagnosis-Related Group (DRG) Trainer, Healthcare

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor new and experienced DRG auditors
• Build easy-to-follow training materials, guides, and online modules
• Review audits for accuracy, provide helpful feedback, and coach coders
• Spot trends, analyze root causes, and improve overall coding quality
• Help shape smarter, more efficient audit processes
• Keep our team up to date with the latest rules, tools, and best practices

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DRG and/or APR DRG auditing and training experience
• RHIT, RHIA, CCS, or CPC certifications (required)
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Deep knowledge of DRG audit processes and compliance standards
• Experience coaching others and developing training materials
• Organized, detail-oriented, and great at giving feedback that makes a difference

Pay

Salary Range: $85,000 – $95,000 (based on experience, skills, and qualifications)

Schedule

100% Remote (U.S.-based) with up to 10% annual travel (for team meetings and limited client onsite engagements.)
