About the role
The School Association for Special Education in DuPage County is seeking individuals to join our team. We are dedicated to providing exceptional educational support services to students with special needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Provide direct instruction and support to students in various settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure student success
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student progress and IEPs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid Illinois teaching certificate in Special Education
- Experience working with students with special needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of federal and state special education laws and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
