About the role

Lead and oversee the overall Finance & Accounts function of the organization, ensuring effective financial strategies, compliance, and strategic advice to top management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective financial strategies, systems, policies, and internal controls.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, management reports, budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax, VAT, company laws, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Monitor cash flow, fund management, receivables, payables, banking activities, and overall financial performance.
  • Lead annual budgeting, budgetary control, and periodic financial performance reviews.
  • Provide strategic financial advice and recommendations to top management for business decision-making.
  • Lead and coordinate the organization’s ERP implementation process, ensuring proper integration of Finance & Accounts with other departments.
  • Work closely with the ERP implementation team, software consultants, and departmental representatives to ensure successful ERP implementation.
  • Ensure proper accounting, documentation, reconciliation, and financial control across projects and corporate operations.
  • Coordinate with Internal Audit, Commercial, Supply Chain, Sales, Operations, HR & Admin, and other relevant departments on financial and operational matters.
  • Lead and develop the Finance & Accounts team, ensuring proper delegation, performance management, training, and professional development.
  • Identify financial and operational risks and take appropriate measures to strengthen internal control.
  • Ensure smooth coordination with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders.
  • Review existing business processes and recommend necessary process improvements, automation, and system integration.
  • Ensure proper mapping of Finance & Accounts processes, chart of accounts, financial controls, reporting requirements, and system workflows within the ERP.
  • Coordinate with concerned departments to resolve ERP-related issues and ensure timely implementation milestones.
  • Monitor ERP data integrity, reporting accuracy, user adoption, and compliance with approved processes.
  • Guide departmental heads and ERP users regarding process standardization, system implementation, and necessary change management.
  • Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Management.

Requirements

  • 15 years of experience in finance and accounting.
  • Proven expertise in ERP implementation, project management, finance management, accounting, corporate finance, budgeting, and financial management.
  • Experience with Oracle Financials and SAP ERP is highly desirable.
