Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch drivers and technicians to designated locations based on predetermined schedules, customer requests, and operational needs.
• Open driving routes daily, ensuring all routes are efficiently planned and prepared.
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch and contact customers when required to address inquiries or confirm deliveries.
• Prepare paperwork for daily routes and next-day deliveries, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor and review delivery processes, ensuring adherence to company standards and identifying areas for improvement.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proficiency in routing software and mapping tools, with strong geographical knowledge of the local area is essential.
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional and courteous demeanor are required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams are necessary.
• A highly self-motivated individual with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
• Experience in logistics, dispatch, or route planning is preferred.
• A strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate documentation and routing are required.
• The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and proactively solve problems is important.
