DFC Credit Coordinator I

Prior Responsibilities

• Prioritize and maintain underwriting inbox for completion of POI Prechecks and Comp calls
• Perform accuracy and efficiency when completing data entry
• Compile and organize lender approval data for Credit-Underwriting, Dealer Relations, and Data Science departments
• Perform underwriting duties in an apprenticeship capacity
• Affiliate with DFC Dealer Relations staff as needed
• Affiliate with dealerships promptly, professionally, and consistently
• Keep customer information confidential
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of necessary forms, regulations, documents and company policies

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 Saturdays per month, with the possibility of additional Saturdays based on business needs
• High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required

Qualifications

• Experience and working knowledge in consumer lending
• Basic understanding of loan origination documentation preferred
• Basic knowledge of various consumer protection/lending laws
• Strong attention to detail
• Sense of urgency
• Excellent communication
• PC skills including knowledge and use of MS Office (Excel, Word, Windows, etc.)
