DevSecOps / Platform Lead
About the role
The DevSecOps / Platform Lead will lead the CI/CD, container, Infrastructure as Code, automation, security-gating, and platform-engineering capabilities supporting JPES/JCRM. Key responsibilities include leading CI/CD pipeline architecture and operations, establishing container/Kubernetes deployment practices, leading Infrastructure as Code and configuration automation, integrating automated test and security gates, leading release/deployment automation, maintaining pipeline observability, reliability, and recoverability, establishing platform-engineering standards, coordinating with developers, cloud engineers, cyber, test, and configuration management, and troubleshooting complex pipeline/platform issues.
Responsibilities
- Lead CI/CD pipeline architecture and operations
- Establish container/Kubernetes deployment practices
- Lead Infrastructure as Code and configuration automation
- Integrate automated test and security gates
- Lead release/deployment automation
- Maintain pipeline observability, reliability, and recoverability
- Establish platform-engineering standards
- Coordinate with developers, cloud engineers, cyber, test, and configuration management
- Troubleshoot complex pipeline/platform issues
Requirements
- Required Bachelor of Arts (BA)/Bachelor of Science (BS) in a Business Management discipline
- Additional four years of experience in lieu of degree is acceptable
- 8+ years DevOps/DevSecOps/platform-engineering experience
- CI/CD pipeline engineering
- Kubernetes and containers
- Infrastructure as Code
- Cloud-platform experience
- Automation/scripting
- U.S. citizenship and required Secret eligibility
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include Azure Government/IL6, C2 Software Factory, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus/artifact repositories.

Benefits
Salary range $130,000-$160,000. Base salary offers are determined based on a variety of factors including the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
