About the role

The DevSecOps Engineer is responsible for implementing and maintaining secure and efficient software development processes. This role requires expertise in CI/CD, security practices, and cloud architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
  • Ensure compliance with DOD 8140 and other security standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system security and efficiency
  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans
  • Document and communicate security policies and procedures
  • Support the deployment and management of cloud-based systems

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a STEM field
  • DOD 8140 certification (Security+ CE)
  • Expertise in CI/CD, test automation, and DevSecOps
  • Experience with system testing and validation
  • Strong troubleshooting and solutioning skills
  • Experience with AWS or Azure cloud architecture
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Experience with Python, PowerShell, and Groovy
  • Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab, Active Directory, IdAM, and LDAP
  • Experience with containerized development environments (Rancher, Kubernetes)
  • Expertise with creating robust test plans
  • Ability to understand and comply with customer security requirements
  • Experience with API Gateways, catalogs

Qualifications

  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) infrastructure and tools
  • Experience with Cloud solution optimization
  • Experience configuring and instrumenting Virtualization tools (Grafana, Splunk)
  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • Experience with IBM Enterprise Lifecycle Management systems engineering
  • Experience with TeamWork Cloud/Cameo systems engineering
  • Experience with Tableau systems engineering
