About the role
The DevSecOps Engineer is responsible for implementing and maintaining secure and efficient software development processes. This role requires expertise in CI/CD, security practices, and cloud architecture.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
- Ensure compliance with DOD 8140 and other security standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system security and efficiency
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans
- Document and communicate security policies and procedures
- Support the deployment and management of cloud-based systems
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a STEM field
- DOD 8140 certification (Security+ CE)
- Expertise in CI/CD, test automation, and DevSecOps
- Experience with system testing and validation
- Strong troubleshooting and solutioning skills
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud architecture
- Strong documentation skills
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Experience with Python, PowerShell, and Groovy
- Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab, Active Directory, IdAM, and LDAP
- Experience with containerized development environments (Rancher, Kubernetes)
- Expertise with creating robust test plans
- Ability to understand and comply with customer security requirements
- Experience with API Gateways, catalogs
Qualifications
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) infrastructure and tools
- Experience with Cloud solution optimization
- Experience configuring and instrumenting Virtualization tools (Grafana, Splunk)
- Experience with ServiceNow
- Experience with IBM Enterprise Lifecycle Management systems engineering
- Experience with TeamWork Cloud/Cameo systems engineering
- Experience with Tableau systems engineering
