About the role

The DevSecOps Engineer, Senior position at Booz Allen involves overseeing a team that streamlines the software development lifecycle, incorporating automation, infrastructure, and cloud resources to enhance efficiency. You will lead the implementation of continuous integration and delivery, and guide the team through the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Automate builds, testing, monitoring, and release processes across environments
• Provision infrastructure using open-source tools and cloud resources
• Design, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitLab CI or GitHub Actions
• Build and host enterprise cloud-native solutions on AWS or Azure
• Containerize and orchestrate workloads using Docker and Kubernetes
• Integrate automated security checks into CI/CD pipelines, including SAST, SCA, and image scanning
• Work with application development teams and mentor employees in a collaborative environment
• Lead the team in implementing continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
• Create and improve continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
• Manage and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins or GitLab

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in DevSecOps engineering
• 10+ years of experience with configuration management tools
• 10+ years of experience with automation and infrastructure provisioning
• 10+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with cloud providers like AWS or Azure
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with automated security tools like SAST, SCA, or image scanning
• Experience working with application development teams
• Active TS/SCI clearance with willingness to take a polygraph exam

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
• Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field

Skills

• Experience with build tools like Maven, Gradle, and NPM
• Experience with ATO process
• Experience with cloud formation, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
• Experience in scripting languages like Python, Bash, Go, or similar
• Experience triaging and resolving issues related to open-source and commercial tools in public cloud environments
• Experience creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins or GitLab
• Cloud or DevOps certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, CKA/CKAD, or Security+

Pay

$77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD)

Schedule

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
