We need a Senior DevSecOps Engineer with on-prem and cloud expertise to support efforts to manage our new infrastructure platform. Join our operations, software, and analytics team, where your skills and mission-focused mindset will play a pivotal role in crafting solutions to enable intelligence analysts across a broad national security user base. Responsibilities

• Leverage OpenShift and Kubernetes to configure, monitor, and maintain this private cloud environment
• Create and maintain automated, repeatable environment creation and configuration (Infrastructure as Code) scripts using ansible, chef, or similar tools
• Create and maintain automated DevSecOps pipelines using leading open-source offerings, including ArgoCD, GitLab, SonarQube, Cucumber, JMeter, and Cypress.io
• Monitor, Predict, Update, and Resolve issues at all levels, from bare-metal operating systems to deployed applications
• Oversee and manage compliance to ATO accreditation needs with tuning, patching or documentation
• Communicate with multidisciplinary SAFe Agile teams and articulate technical concepts and ideas effectively

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI with CI poly (or willingness to obtain a CI poly)
• Bachelor's degree with 14 years of total professional experience in a technical support role (additional years of experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree)
• Demonstrated technical experience with DevSecOps and strong Linux experience
• Open source and custom application deployments and maintenance experience
• Capable of working effectively with a geographically distributed ops & development team
• Communicate effectively with customers and team in written and oral forums
• Willingness to work 90% or as needed in a SCIF environment in Herndon, VA

Desired Qualifications

• Hardware and software sustainment with IC and DoD networks
• Distributed processing methods and tools, such as REST APIs, microservices, IaaS/PaaS services
• Developing and deploying web services
• Working with open-source resources in a government computing environment
• Maintaining backend GIS technologies
• ICD 503
• Big data technologies such as ElasticSearch, Accumulo, Spark, Hive, or Hadoop
• Hybrid cloud/on-prem architecture, RedHat, AWS, C2S, and OpenShift
• Concepts such as Data visualization; Data management, Data integration, User Interfaces, Databases
• CompTIA Security+ or comparable certification for privileged user access
• Experience in/or supporting military/intelligence or knowledge of some TCPED systems is a plus

Pay

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.

Base Pay Range: $145,000.00 - $215,000.00 (for California, Colorado, Hawaii, New Jersey, the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area, and all other states)
