About the role
The DevSecOps Engineer will support a government customer's cloud native product development.
Responsibilities
- Drive DevSecOps processes and pipelines
- Interface with internal/external stakeholders
- Afford appropriate levels of monitoring and alerting for applications
- Assist in improving CI/CD environment provisioning and development workflows
Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Computer Science or Software Engineering)
- 10+ years of experience
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders
- Experience with issue tracking systems
- Experience with continuous integration, code quality, or source control management
- Experience with multiple operating systems (RHEL, Windows, LINUX)
- Experience with software development languages (C++, Python, BASH or other scripting languages)
- Experience with artifact management software (Gitlab, Artifactory or similar)
Qualifications
- Experience developing engineering applications for a large DoD organization
- Experience with OpenShift, Coverity, Fortify, and SD Element software
- Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
- Experience with artifact repositories including configuration, installation and maintenance
- Experience with automation including implementation, design and proselytization across the customer base
- Professional work experience in team building and project organization
- Experience with various operating systems and their implications
Skills
- Software development languages (C++, Python, BASH or other scripting languages)
- Artifact management software (Gitlab, Artifactory or similar)
