About the role
The DevSecOps / Automation Engineer will build, operate, and enhance automated CI/CD, deployment, testing, security, and infrastructure processes for JPES/JCRM.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code.
- Automate environment provisioning and configuration.
- Integrate automated security and testing tools.
- Automate application deployments and release activities.
- Manage build artifacts and pipeline dependencies.
- Troubleshoot pipeline failures.
- Maintain version-controlled automation scripts and documentation.
Requirements
- Required Bachelor of Arts (BA)/Bachelor of Science (BS) in a Business Management discipline.
- Additional four years of experience in lieu of degree is acceptable.
- 5+ years DevOps/DevSecOps experience.
- Certified CISSP or equivalent security certification preferred.
- CI/CD pipeline engineering.
- Infrastructure as Code.
- Scripting/automation.
- Container experience.
- Git/source-control experience.
- U.S. citizenship and required Secret eligibility.
Qualifications
- Terraform.
- Ansible.
- Jenkins.
- Kubernetes.
- SonarQube.
- Nexus.
- Azure IL6/Government cloud.
Skills
- Technical proficiency in DevOps/DevSecOps practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code.
- Automation scripting and tool integration.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools.
- Strong understanding of security best practices.
Benefits
