Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a DevOps System Engineer to support a U.S. Air Force program in Rancho Bernardo, CA. The team is seeking an experienced engineer to support sustainment, continuous integration and deployment of software for the first mission-critical application to complete a cloud migration. Details below: Clearance: Secret Clearance, Top Secret preferred Location: Rancho Bernardo, CA (Hybrid – 2x/week onsite) This job opens for applications on 9/22/2026 Applications for this job will be accepted for at least 30 days from the posting date Responsibilities of the System Engineer: Design and maintain secure, scalable on-premises infrastructure.Collaborate with teams to support application and infrastructure requirements.Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery.Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring processes for legacy applications.Monitor performance, resolve issues, and improve system reliability.Implement DevSecOps security controls and best practices.Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and deployment incidents.Administer and maintain critical Linux/Windows serversEvaluate and adopt new technologies to enhance operations.
