DevOps Engineer with Python
About the role
Cognizant seeks an AI/ML Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in AI and ML, hands-on experience building and deploying AI models, and proficiency in automation solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation solutions using Python or similar languages, and integrate these solutions into existing software environments.
- Integrate AI components into telecom networks or IMS environments, ensuring compatibility and robust performance.
- Ensure AI security and data privacy best practices are incorporated into development and deployment processes.
- Work independently to solve complex problems and drive projects to completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and shared understanding of project goals.
Requirements
- Familiarity with telecom networks or IMS environments.
- Experience with Nokia IMS network elements or similar telecom systems.
- Previous work experience in telecommunications, network automation, or related fields.
- Experience with Redhat OpenShift deployments and automation.
- Demonstrated continuous learning and staying updated with AI/ML technologies and industry best practices.
Qualifications
A solid understanding of AI security and data privacy best practices, along with independent problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities, are essential.

Pay
The annual salary for this position is between $74,000 – $84,000 + Bonus, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
