Job Duties
- Sustains and maintains the reliability and performance of critical systems hosted in OpenShift.
- Investigates and resolves customer issues, system discrepancies, and other required maintenance activities.
- Performs software problem analysis, modification testing, system, and security administration.
- Maintains and documents operations, sustainment, maintenance, and customer support documentation (SLAs, SOPs, etc).
- Performs system builds and hardening, automated testing, and security scans.
- Manages and documents system security, ensuring all systems are security compliant.
- Authors Helm charts to deploy systems to multiple OpenShift environments (Dev & Ops).
- Manages Infrastructure as Code and configuration management.
- Manages system-level PKI certifications, including NPEs, in all system environments.
- Designs, implements, and monitors user and system metrics for all users and systems across all environments based on customer requirements.
Skills/Qualifications
- TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or STEM field.
- 7+ years of related experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading a team to perform system sustainment, administration, security, integration, and testing on a program or project.
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience with DoD and ICD Cyber Security Requirements and implementation.
- 3+ years of experience with cloud services.
- Current CompTIA Security+ certification.
- Experience working with an Agile Development team utilizing the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Experience providing input to the team involved in writing and updating technical documentation such as user manuals, system documentation, and training materials.
- Knowledgeable of containerization, monitoring & logging, and network & security.
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience with geospatial information system operations and sustainment.
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in application software operations and sustainment.
- Current CISSP or CISM certification.
- Familiarity with Configuration Management and Request for Change process for review and assessment.
- Experience with delivery of an integrated software development solution.
- Experience in System Engineering and project management.
- Knowledge and/or experience with NGA enterprise products.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab, ArgoCD, or similar).
- Experience with Service+ and Jira to track user issues as well as development stories.
- Understanding of basic networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing.
- Experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift.
- In-depth knowledge, principles, and methods of enterprise solutions.
- Experience with software system design, able to create application architecture for new applications.
- Experience with integrating security components with applications and databases.
