About the role

We are seeking a Co-Op DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure that powers LiveRamp’s core data and onboarding services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including application, security, and platform teams—to ensure the infrastructure is reliable, secure, and scalable.

You will also be responsible for maintaining and enhancing CI/CD pipelines and Terraform scripts to streamline deployment processes and infrastructure automation. Automating infrastructure provisioning through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) will be a key focus, enabling self-service environment creation for engineering teams. Additionally, you will participate in on-call rotations, triaging incidents, and ensuring system availability, performance, and data quality meet defined SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy infrastructure tools such as Kubernetes clusters, networks, and databases
• Implement and enhance operational tooling for observability, incident detection, and automated remediation
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and Terraform scripts to optimize deployment workflows
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for repeatability and self-service
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure database infrastructure aligned with best practices
• Own and participate in on-call responsibilities, triaging incidents, and resolving system issues promptly
• Develop runbooks and documentation to support ongoing operations and troubleshooting
• Evaluate emerging data and infrastructure technologies through POCs and build solution design documents
• Drive platform modernization initiatives, including container orchestration, secrets management, and cost optimization
• Build infrastructure for large-scale database tools, analytics, and AI/ML workloads using tools like MySQL, SingleStore, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and cloud resources
• Partner with security, application, and platform teams to ensure compliance, privacy, and performance standards are met

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Interest or experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or infrastructure-focused work supporting production systems
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their networking, security, and managed services
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar
• Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
• Background in Linux systems, containers, and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or ECS
• Understanding of observability stacks including metrics, logs, and tracing for system reliability
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Go, or Bash for automation
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working across cross-functional teams
• Ability to participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response efforts
