Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for application deployments.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and workloads.
- Develop Python scripts to automate operational tasks, deployments, and monitoring.
- Containerize applications using Docker and deploy them on Kubernetes.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Monitor application and infrastructure health using cloud-native and open-source monitoring tools.
- Configure logging, alerting, and incident response processes.
- Implement security best practices for cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment automation and release processes.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery of applications and infrastructure.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a focus on AWS Cloud, Kubernetes, Python, and CI/CD automation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, and IAM.
- Experience with Kubernetes, including cluster management, pod scheduling, and service discovery.
- Strong proficiency in Python scripting for automation and data processing.
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of cloud-native monitoring tools and practices.
- Experience with security best practices in cloud environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
