About the role
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for automating infrastructure, managing cloud services, and ensuring smooth deployment processes across multiple environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitLab
- Manage and optimize cloud resources on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, QA engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software products
- Implement and maintain serverless architectures using AWS Lambda and other relevant technologies
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in production environments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps engineering or a related field
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and experience with at least one major cloud provider
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) practices
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
- Hands-on experience with serverless architecture and AWS Lambda
Skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing requirements
- Experience with API management platforms like Kong or Envoy
- Understanding of security best practices and experience with securing cloud environments
