DevOps Engineer

About the role

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for automating infrastructure, managing cloud services, and ensuring smooth deployment processes across multiple environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitLab
• Manage and optimize cloud resources on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, QA engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software products
• Implement and maintain serverless architectures using AWS Lambda and other relevant technologies
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in production environments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in DevOps engineering or a related field
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and experience with at least one major cloud provider
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) practices
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
• Hands-on experience with serverless architecture and AWS Lambda

Skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing requirements
• Experience with API management platforms like Kong or Envoy
• Understanding of security best practices and experience with securing cloud environments
