DevOps Engineer

About the role

A DevOps Engineer is responsible for automating infrastructure and application deployment processes, ensuring smooth operations, and fostering collaboration between development and IT teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitLab
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for server provisioning and configuration management
• Collaborate with developers to integrate automated testing into the build process
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in production environments
• Optimize resource usage and improve operational efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or a related field
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with continuous integration and delivery tools
• Knowledge of network security principles and practices
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum)

Skills

• Technical proficiency in Linux/Unix systems
