DevOps Engineer

About The Role

We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer (L4) to join our Cloud Platform team within the Reliability organization. This role is pivotal in building, maintaining, and evolving our shared cloud infrastructure that powers all product and machine learning workloads. You will work closely with SRE, Delivery, InfoSec, and Product/ML teams to enhance platform reliability, scalability, and developer experience. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and robustness of our infrastructure, enabling our engineering teams to innovate rapidly and deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of professional experience operating Kubernetes in production environments, including cluster networking, storage, and RBAC
• Proficiency with AWS infrastructure, including VPC design, networking, and IAM
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or AWS CDK
• Experience implementing GitOps workflows using tools like ArgoCD or similar
• Strong ability to influence technical decisions across teams and promote platform standards

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate a fleet of Kubernetes (EKS) clusters across various environments ensuring high availability and reliability
• Develop and evolve AWS infrastructure and network architecture to support scalable, multi-team workloads
• Create and maintain infrastructure-as-code pipelines using Terraform, CDK, and ArgoCD to automate deployment and management processes
• Define, monitor, and analyze Service Level Objectives (SLOs), incidents, and systemic issues to improve platform stability and performance
• Lead incident response efforts, participate in post-incident reviews, and implement systemic fixes to prevent recurrence
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement high-impact infrastructure changes and establish platform standards
• Enhance developer experience by simplifying platform usage, reducing toil, and enabling faster development cycles
• Optimize resource utilization and contribute to cost efficiency initiatives across Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure
