DevOps Engineer

About the role

Sedaro is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to drive our commitment to operational excellence within a multi-cloud, Kubernetes-based environment. This role involves integrating CI/CD, security, and observability tools and automating processes, while also fostering a culture of best practices among team members.

Responsibilities

• Optimize multi-cloud production infrastructure for security, reliability, and cost efficiency
• Design and implement system observability with actionable alerting and measurable Service Level Objectives (SLOs)
• Drive automation through infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and continuous compliance
• Foster Lean practices and a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and distributed systems architecture
• Experience implementing CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and observability practices
• Proficiency in scripting and automation

Qualifications

• Passionate about building a culture of operational excellence
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform
• Desirable: Experience with CDKTF, AWS, Azure, IL4/5+, and NIST 800-171
