HybridEngineeringFull-time
About The Role
The role is responsible for the design, scaling, and reliability of the cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines supporting high-throughput production applications. The engineer will bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring systems are scalable, secure, and observable. The team focuses on automation, treating infrastructure-as-code as a core philosophy to minimize manual intervention and accelerate product delivery cycles without compromising stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, provision, and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS using Terraform for infrastructure-as-code
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters (EKS) for container orchestration, including scaling policies, ingress controllers, and resource allocation
- Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI to automate testing, security scanning, and deployment
- Implement comprehensive observability across all environments using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack to proactively detect and debug system anomalies
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to optimize application performance, reliability, and cloud spend
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support production systems and lead post-mortem incident reviews to drive systemic improvements
What We Are Looking For
- 3–6 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Systems Engineering roles managing production cloud environments
- Strong proficiency with AWS services (EC2, RDS, VPC, IAM, S3, Route53) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools, specifically Terraform
- Hands-on experience deploying, monitoring, and scaling production workloads in Kubernetes
- Solid scripting and automation skills in Python, Go, or Bash, with a strong focus on eliminating toil
- Deep understanding of Linux systems administration, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, Load Balancing), and security best practices
- Bonus: Experience with service meshes (Istio/Linkerd), GitOps workflows (ArgoCD/Flux), or managing database reliability at scale
