About the Opportunity

The DevOps Engineer will design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions and automations to optimize DevOps workflows and infrastructure operations. This role is responsible for managing and enhancing cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure and Databricks, to ensure secure, efficient, and scalable performance. The position contributes to advancing technological capabilities that support operational efficiency and health equity initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions and automations for DevOps and infrastructure challenges
• Manage, monitor, and optimize Azure resources including VMs, storage, VNets, firewalls, Key Vaults, Function Apps, and App Services
• Provision, configure, and support Databricks environments and collaborate with data engineering teams
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and maintain secure integrations between Azure, GitHub, and service principals
• Collaborate with security teams to manage and remediate vulnerabilities in Azure and GitHub based on security tools findings
• Configure and troubleshoot Azure networking components and manage hybrid network connections
• Oversee Azure Cost Management and implement cost-optimization strategies
• Assess emerging technology trends to inform solution design and cloud initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years in systems engineering, DevOps, cloud engineering, or systems operations
• At least 2 years administering and optimizing Microsoft Azure infrastructure
• At least 2 years automating infrastructure provisioning with Terraform
• At least 2 years building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• At least 1 year managing Azure networking components
• At least 1 year administering Azure Databricks workspaces
• At least 1 year identifying and remediating cloud security vulnerabilities
• Preferred qualifications include experience with AI-powered developer tools, Azure certifications, expertise in Azure Cost Management, and strong collaboration skills.

Pay Range and Compensation Package

Salary range: $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment
Compensation is influenced by local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications
