About the role
Open Systems Technologies Corporation is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our high-performing cyber team in support of a large Security Operations Center (SOC) enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, test, certify, operate, patch, and resolve interoperability issues for DevSecOps infrastructure tools, including all operating systems, support libraries, components, and application dependencies.
- Serve as the primary Operations and Maintenance workforce for multiple tools.
- Deploy and configure services using infrastructure-as-a-service providers.
- Configure and manage Linux-based servers to support dynamic websites.
- Debug cluster-based computing architectures.
- Use scripting or basic programming skills to solve problems.
- Install and manage open-source monitoring tools.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
- Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA).
- Minimum of 5 years of overall experience in DevOps tasking.
- Experience with Linux-based environment administration.
- Experience testing, implementing, deploying, maintaining, and administering infrastructure hardware and software for cybersecurity.
- Experience developing, creating, modifying, and maintaining computer applications, software, or specialized utility programs for cybersecurity.
Preferred Skills
- Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA).
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Associate.
- Experience integrating third-party components, introducing new custom capabilities, modifying existing code, recommending process improvements, and automating operations and maintenance tasks.
- Experience with Splunk, Oracle/SQL-based platforms, and Python.
